Client Overview

Dorset Dried Flowers is a high-end wedding and event floristry business. They specialise in sustainable dried flower arrangements that combine countryside charm with timeless elegance. Founder Catherine Ramm creates bespoke floral designs for weddings and events across Dorset and beyond. She is primarily inspired by and lives amongst the natural beauty of rural life.

When Dorset Dried Flowers approached us, the brand was growing quickly and needed a website and visual identity that reflected its quality, sustainability, and romantic aesthetic. The goal was to create an online presence that felt as refined as the florals themselves, while performing strongly in search results for Dorset and UK wedding florists.

About This Luxury Floristry Website Design Project

We collaborated closely with Catherine to capture the essence of her brand – elegant, earthy, and authentically rural. The new website showcases her artistry through large-format imagery, subtle animation, and a natural, neutral palette drawn from her own flower collection.

Our web design focused on storytelling and SEO, ensuring visitors could instantly understand the brand’s values and easily explore its services, gallery, and (in the future) blog. As part of the build, we also developed a consistent visual identity, including a bespoke logo set, colour palette, and typography system for use across the website and printed materials.

Project Goals for the Dorset Dried Flowers Website

Our Apporach to Luxury Floristry Website Design

We began by defining the brand tone and visual language, balancing countryside warmth with high-end refinement. Soft pastels, subtle serif typography, and generous white space create a calm, romantic feel that mirrors the brand’s floral designs.

To maximise engagement and allow for self-editing, the site was built on WordPress, fully optimised for speed, SEO, and responsive performance. Each page was structured to support long-term organic growth, targeting high-intent keywords such as “Dorset wedding florist” and “sustainable wedding flowers.”

We also guided Catherine through content creation and blogging, ensuring every page communicated expertise while staying true to her voice.

Challenges & Solutions With Luxury Floristry Website Design

The main challenge was balancing visual artistry with technical SEO performance. High-resolution imagery is vital for a florist’s site, but large files can slow load times. We implemented advanced image optimisation and lazy loading to preserve beauty without sacrificing speed.

We also needed to highlight the brand’s eco-friendly practices without overwhelming visitors with text. This was achieved through concise copy, natural imagery, and thoughtful section design.

Results of the Website Redesign

The new website positions Dorset Dried Flowers as a leading luxury florist in Dorset, attracting a steady stream of high-value wedding and event enquiries. Search rankings have significantly improved for target keywords, and the site’s elegant design has received glowing feedback from both clients and industry peers.

It perfectly reflects the brand’s philosophy of sustainability, quality, and timeless beauty, helping Catherine grow her business and showcase her work to couples across the UK.

Tom completely understood my vision from the start. The new website feels like my business ethos – elegant, natural, and beautifully designed. I’ve had so many compliments from clients, and enquiries have increased noticeably since launch.
